DURHAM, NC, July 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, today announced Mixed-Class Comail support for its BCC Mail Manager Full Service software. This feature is ideal for large commercial printers, co-minglers and logistics providers to the mailing industry, allowing them to combine volumes from periodical flats and standard flats into a single mailing to maximize postage discounts.
"This newest feature for BCC Mail Manager Full Service completes the suite of Comail tools and underpins our commitment to ensuring that our customers can maximize the discounts they receive from the USPS," said Mitch Carpenter, product manager for BCC Mail Manager Full Service. "We continue to bring solutions to the market that align with technology that changes and enhances the way our customers operate."
With Mixed-Class Comail support, users will be able to combine mailings to produce more 3-digit and 5-digit qualified mail. They will also be able to qualify more Carrier Route mail, and qualify more mail for destination entry while creating fewer pallets for the same weight of mail. This increases the ability to move more mail closer to the destination entry point while staying within the maximum stack load for trucks.
The Mixed-Class Comail feature, when combined with the optional Standard Mail Comail Analysis Tool, enables mailers to optimally determine cost-effective pools for consolidated sortation. "Our Comail Analysis Tool continues to distinguish BCC Mail Manager Full Service apart from the competition since it allows Standard class mailers the ability to determine the most efficient and effective way to drive postage costs out of their production, all before they produce the mail," noted Carpenter. "No other commercial software solution today offers the breadth and depth of support for comailing as the BCC Mail Manager Full Service solution."
