Steven and Lynn Booth are excited to be jumping into the social media world with their practice's Facebook page. They hope that the Facebook page allows for more interaction with their patients and makes their practice more visible online.
"I'm glad that our practice has been using Facebook to interact with our patients. I know that almost all of our patients are active on Facebook and I think it's great that we are able to interact with them on this service. I hope that all of our patients will take the time to "like" our practice and start receiving updates from us," said Dr. Penterson, Midlothian cosmetic dentist.
Drs. Penterson and Booth are using the Facebook page to post updates on the practice and links to blog posts. They post content related to dental implants in Midlothian and other dental topics to help educate their patients about various dental issues. Patients who "like" the page are free to write comments and questions on the page's wall. One of the dentists or a member of their staff will follow up with a response to the question shortly after.

He moved to the Richmond area in 1977 with his wife, Cathy, to attend the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and graduated in 1981 with the student award for excellence in periodontics. Dr. Penterson's son-in-law, Dr. Stephen Booth, joined the practice in 2005 and continues to work part-time as a dentist for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he graduated magna cum laude. In 2007, Dr. Lynn Penterson Booth joined her father and husband at Penterson & Booth.
