LifeShield Security Donates Wireless Home Security System to ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
2010-10-05
YARDLEY, PA, October 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) LifeShield Security is proud to announce that they have joined the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team for a very special television episode, which is scheduled to air Sunday, October 10th at 8:00 PM ET on ABC. LifeShield will lend a hand by donating their professionally-monitored wireless security system to the well-deserving Johnson family.

Feeling safe in your home is essential and LifeShield Security is helping the Johnson family in Houston, TX secure their dream house with the first national, all-digital wireless security system. While the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team rebuilds the inner city house, LifeShield Security will focus on building a peace of mind for the Johnson family when it comes to the security of their home.

"LifeShield Security is making our home a safe haven for our 5 most valued possessions, our daughters. Thank you for helping us sleep through the night," says Eric and Elaine Johnson.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is a reality television show, hosted by Ty Pennington, in which a team provides home renovations for deserving families that have faced some sort of recent or ongoing hardship. While the family is on a seven-day vacation, the team coordinates with a local contractor and a variety of companies in the home construction industry for a makeover of the family's home. LifeShield Security was given the opportunity to assist with the project by donating a revolutionary wireless home security system that will provide safety for the Johnson family.

"LifeShield is proud to extend protection to such a deserving family," said Lou Stilp, founder of LifeShield Security. "Participating in an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project has given us the unique opportunity to showcase for America what home security in the 21st century will offer home owners. With our wireless platform safety has extended beyond the home, to wherever a wireless signal can be received. We created LifeShield in order to keep families safe and give them the peace of mind they deserve in their home and while they are away from home."

Eric and Elaine Johnson, founders of the non-profit marriage and family counsel organization Optimum Lifestyle, live in a dilapidated inner city house with their five daughters. The family was in the midst of refurbishing their home when disaster struck in 2008 during Hurricane Ike. Between this devastation and the economic downturn, the family was forced to put their dreams on hold. Now Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and LifeShield Security can help make the Johnson family safe and sound by installing a professional-grade home security system.

By donating the LifeShield security Home Kit, Stilp is certain that the system will alleviate all future concerns for the family's safety. Stilp looks forward to the future of LifeShield and its aid to other families. In Stilp's own words, "Participating in Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has inspired all of us at LifeShield and we are proud to be able to give the gift of safety to many more families in the future."
