Canton Ministry Distributes School Supplies and Ice Cream for Elementary School Students

Love the Children Ministries is Set to Host School Supply Giveaway for Deserving Families

LUTZ, FL, August 09, 2012 (Press-News.org) With Canton City School Districts' schools starting Aug. 20, two organizations want to ensure that local students are prepared. Love the Children Ministries (LTCM) and Dueber Elementary School are set to partner on Saturday, Aug. 11, for a free back-to-school supply giveaway that will also include an ice cream social and a live disc jockey. The event will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Dueber Elementary School located at 815 Dueber Ave., S.W. Canton, OH 44706.

Over the past five years, LTCM has given away more than 10,000 school supplies to children in the community. This year the LTCM and Dueber Elementary partnership will distribute at least 3,500 school supplies to more than 200 students to help alleviate back to school expenses for struggling families. "We encourage all families with students attending Dueber Elementary School who are in need of school supplies for their children to attend. With Canton City School Districts' schools beginning in a few weeks, we want to ensure the students are equipped to start the school year off right by having the supplies needed for success in the classroom," said LTCM Founder/Executive Director Heather Conley.

Love the Children Ministries (LTCM) is a nonprofit organization serving children in Canton, OH. For the past eight years, the organization has provided support to thousands of children near the Canton area. In addition to the school supply giveaway, LTCM also hosts an annual toy drive for local families.
