RALEIGH, NC, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) VantageSouth Bank announced today the addition of David Brindley to its Small Business Administration (SBA) lending group. Brindley has been named Vice President of Government Guaranteed Lending for the bank, which was ranked as the Number One SBA lender in the state of North Carolina by the SBA earlier this year.
Before joining VantageSouth Bank in June, Brindley was Vice President of SBA Lending at CBC National Bank, covering eight states in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. In his new position, Brindley will initiate and negotiate owner-occupied commercial real estate and business loans to be funded by VantageSouth Bank that meet the guidelines of the SBA 7a and 504 Loan Programs.
SBA lending is a guarantee loan program aimed to help start-up and existing small businesses in the United States for a variety of business purposes and is designed for credit-worthy borrowers who may have difficulty getting access to financing at reasonable terms. According to a report issued by the North Carolina SBA District Office in Charlotte, VantageSouth Bank's SBA lending volume production exceeded that of other community banks and larger banks in the state through the first five months of the SBA's fiscal year. The bank's SBA department is based out of Salisbury, with its lending professionals operating across the state.
"At VantageSouth Bank, we're assembling a best-of-class team of banking professionals," said Chris Kwiatkowski, Senior Vice President of Government Lending for VantageSouth Bank. "The success of our SBA team is a testament to that: they are solely dedicated to utilizing the SBA program to deliver success for our clients and communities."
"I have been involved in the financial services industry for more than twenty years and enjoy working with entrepreneurs and small business owners, providing them the capital they need to grow their businesses," said Brindley. "I am thrilled to be a part of the VantageSouth Bank team. We do much more than close SBA loans: we help make entrepreneurs' dreams come true."
