Apple Visual Graphics Teams with Local Company to Produce Street Art for Rockport Shoes

Apple Visual Graphics printed and installed adhesive vinyl graphics which were turned into a sidewalk exhibition in New York City for Rockport Shoes.

2012-08-14
LONG ISLAND, NY, August 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) To announce the launch of the truWalk(zero) line for the Spring 2012 collection, Rockport Shoes, a subsidiary of Reebok International, teamed with Roy Braeger Events to create a one of a kind exhibition on the streets of New York City. This launch, featuring performance artist Johan Lorbeer, could be found in April 2012 with various performance artists "levitating" next to the cube to signify the line being one of the lightest ever developed by Rockport Shoes.

Roy Braeger Events is a Brooklyn based company specializing in full service planning of happy occasions. As a long term client of Apple Visual Graphics, Roy Braeger Events turned to Apple Visual Graphics to print and install the adhesive vinyl graphics seen on the truWalk(zero) cube with very little turn around time. These graphics were then installed onto the cube by the Apple Visual Graphics in house installer.

Using the industry's top tools, including a HP 6100, Apple Visual Graphics has the equipment, know-how and attention to detail needed to print and install rush projects such as these wide format pieces. The Rockport Shoes cube stands out amongst the high-profile campaigns Apple Visual Graphics has worked on previously for clients such as Moma PS1, Scott James, and LeSportsac.

More than fifteen years of experience in the commercial printing world has given Apple Visual Graphics the ability to create custom vehicle wraps, adhesive vinyl graphics and installation, building wraps and in store collateral such as look books and window displays for some of the most innovative retailers nationwide.

Apple Visual Graphics is a family owned and operated print shop based out of Long Island City, NY. With ties to the community, Apple Visual Graphics prides itself for being Forest Stewardship Council certified through the Rainforest Alliance Smartwood Program. Apple Visual Graphics now accepts "Made in NY" cards, offering a discount to Film, Theatre and Broadcasting companies who are registered with the NYC Mayor's Office of Film.
