Orthodontist Dr. Mark Reynolds in Greensboro NC Receives Ormco Ingenuity Award at Annual American Association of Orthodontics Meeting
2012-08-16
GREENSBORO, NC, August 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Orthodontic supplier Ormco awarded Greensboro orthodontist Dr. Mark Reynolds the 2012 Ormco Ingenuity Award during the latest meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).

Dr. Reynolds received the prestigious award in recognition of his dedication and service for the local community. Specifically, he gained support from four local dentists for a high school student needing more than $50,000 worth of dental work. Through the Guilford County chapter (founded by Dr. Reynolds in 2010) of the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation, the patient received all services and materials free of charge.

The Ormco Ingenuity Award began when Ormco Corporation and the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation joined together in 2010 in their mission to provide free orthodontic treatment and services to underprivileged children throughout the country. With 50 years of providing leading-edge products to the dental profession, medical profession, orthodontics, endodontics, and implantology, Ormco joined forces with the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation (founded in 2008) to deliver complimentary products to orthodontists associated with the foundation to help treat underprivileged children.

As a member of Smile for a Lifetime Foundation, Dr. Reynolds participates in the organization's mission to provide expert care to people who could not otherwise afford orthodontics in their local communities. The non-profit organization sponsors hundreds of qualified patients across the United States every year. Both of Dr. Reynolds offices in Greensboro and Summerfield, North Carolina take part in reaching out to individuals with financial difficulties and orthodontic needs.

Believing in the mission of Smile for a Lifetime Foundation, Dr. Reynolds extends his quality orthodontic service to less fortunate children. He knows that the beauty of a smile can create self-confidence, inspire hope, and change lives.

With the assistance of the local chapter of Smile for a Lifetime and now with the support of Ormco Corporation, the mission is made possible. In fact, more than $100,000 worth of care has been given to the 17 patients in Guilford County alone since the local chapter was established.

Orthodontist Dr. Mark Reynolds of Reynolds Orthodontics has locations at:
1304 Beaman Place, Greensboro NC 27408 (336) 274-7649

2012-08-16
Television is not what it used to be. Once upon a time, viewers not only had to perform a small fete of acrobatics with antennas to get decent pictures, but also actually had to get up and turn dials to change channels. With the advent of cable and satellite television, the remote control and the ability to record programming on a digital video recorder, or DVR, it appears those days are over. With all these changes, the thought of watching popular television programs without having to sit through commercials seems the next logical step -- a step Dish Network is attempting ...
