RONKONKOMA, NY, August 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) On Wednesday, August 8th The Courtyard by Marriott, MacArthur Airport Hotel hosted a networking event, "Who Said You Can't Mix Business with Pleasure?" The event featured 30 vendors from various industries. Approximately 400 guests attended the event in which they were offered complimentary multicultural dinner stations, desserts and an open bar.
This event that was like no other in the hotel industry on Long Island. It provided The Courtyard by Marriott the opportunity to showcase their business partnership with the local vendors and sponsors in the community.
Attendees were greeted in the brightly decorated lobby with floral arrangements to compliment the Tiki Bar where they began their evenings' festivities with a choc-full welcome bag. From there, they visited the Courtyard patio where they could enjoy complimentary wine tastings from Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard and hors d'oeuvres. The excitement continued with a Money Pit set-up, where participants had chance to win prizes such as Overnight accommodations with breakfast for two, o include Splish Splash, Aquarium or Patchogue Theatre Tickets even the opportunity for Wine Tasting at Baiting Hollow, just to mention a few.
The surprises didn't end there. Once the guests arrived on the 7th floor, everyone had the opportunity to see just how versatile The Courtyard by Marriott, MacArthur Airport Hotel can be. The Banquet rooms were elegantly decorated with table centerpieces, floral arrangements, photo booth and a dance, dance game. The DJ was there to keep the mood going! All of the above were provided compliments of New York Party Works, Gina's Enchanted Florist, Sensational Sounds J Entertainment and Dolci Momenti Bakery & Cafe.
The stylishly staged program was supported by over 30 sponsors and vendors bringing a high level of professional business clout to the event. The Courtyard Marriott's Director of Sales and Marketing, Frank D'Andrea, had a hope and a vision going into the event: "We wanted to take a moment out of everyone's busy schedules to celebrate our business partnerships. Also, simply thank them for those relationships, and show as many people as possible our quality product. We proudly presented our complete hotel redesign of all 154 newly contemporized, deluxe guest accommodations, our refined and smart meeting space, and our highly professional catering abilities."
