Bedor's wealth of experience in business convention and exhibition management will allow The Special Event Company to continue to expand its reach and provide the highest level of event planning services to both a national and international market. In her position, Bedor will use her expertise and more than 23 years of experience to promote the firm's services, guide target market outreach and design event proposals for a wide range of clients.

- Bedor received her bachelor's degree in recreation resources administration with a concentration in program management from NC State University. A native of Johnson City, Tenn., she resides in Hillsborough, N.C.

- She has earned her Certification in Exhibition Management as well as being a graduate of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events' (IAEE) Krakoff Leadership Institute.

- Prior to joining The Special Event Company, Bedor managed operations for the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest consumer electronics show and the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), the world's largest manufacturing show. She also directed conferences and exhibitions for the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).

- Bedor is a member of the Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC), the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), and Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
