MEQUON, WI, August 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Designed specifically for UAV applications the Neptune HD is one of the smallest HD video recorders in the world! Accepting video from most HD LVDS Sony Block Cameras, the Neptune will encode, record, take stills, overlay data, and stream an NTSC/PAL output. Video, stills and data are recorded to an optional SD or MicroSD card. Compressed H.264 HD video can also stream via USB2.0 or Ethernet through an optional converter. A complete RS-232 API is available for easy integration and control.

The Neptune HD can operate in temperatures from -40C to +85C. Its also resilient to shock and vibration, making it ideal for military applications.
