Popular eLearning Platform Hits Schools Near You

The Fall term begins and teachers everywhere are feeling their load lightened by the plethora of features and functionality made available by Novachi via their new application, NCC.

2012-08-26
SANTA CLARA, CA, August 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Novachi Classroom Collaboration (NCC) continues its rapid growth as it spreads like wildfire throughout Florida and the rest of the United States. The application, designed specifically to provide a safe and secure environment for schools to go about the business of teaching and learning online, is seeing its first real test this month as schools all over the country begin the Fall session.

NCC has become popular with teachers in part because it's free, but also due to the ease-of-use and flexibility the platform provides. From sign-up to setup, teachers will find they can create their own completely functioning virtual classrooms in far less time than it takes to do roll-call in their physical classroom.

Novachi, recognizing that some users may have different expectations from their application, has made it easy for casual users to log in and connect with their students, parents, and peers in the education community. These users can easily interact via their own unique classrooms, and within those classrooms, teachers and students can communicate via blogs, discussions, polls, and private messaging. Additionally, casual users can also share content via social bookmarking, event calendars, file uploads, photos, and videos.

For more involved users who wish to use NCC as a supplement to learning in the classroom, or for those who wish to completely replace location-based learning with an online curriculum, there is an even deeper level of connectivity to be experienced. To this end Novachi has seamlessly integrated the latest version of Moodle into the NCC application to provide a pedagogical approach to their online classrooms. Using Moodle features from within NCC, teachers can create a variety of assignment and resources, including online and offline activities, forums, quizzes, wikis, surveys, as well as IMS and SCORM content packages.

Teachers and school administrators who are looking to supplement their instruction with an online component need look no further. Novachi requires no contracts or setup fees. Simply log on to http://www.novachi.com and select the access level you need (district, school, or teacher). After the sign-up information has been reviewed and verified, users will be granted access to the system and can start their virtual classrooms right away.

Novachi enables students, parents, and educators to collaborate online. Novachi improves education experience by automating many classroom administrative tasks so that teachers can focus on teaching and students can focus on learning. Parents can better engage in their child's learning process through greater insight, collaboration, and participation in classroom activities. Novachi is free to use for public and private schools.
