The Choice of Competitive Companies, TalkNow UC!
2012-09-01
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, September 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) The TalkNow UC is a cooperative solution for video-conferencing that of course provides the standard features of intra-company messaging and video conferencing but also offers enhanced security that protects the video conferencing from being hacked by an outside, third party.

The TalkNow UC is a solution developed by Tel79com Co., Ltd. (CEO, Yong-hwa, JI, www.talknow.co.kr) and is designed to allow users to perform a variety of tasks including voice conversations, video conferencing, and chatting with a single login regardless of time and place. Because of these features, TalkNow increases task efficiency for its users.

TalkNow is logged onto like a normal messenger. The single sign-on (SSO) module makes it possible for the user to of course perform the basic features of chatting and multi-person video conferencing, as well as the additional tasks of using Internet mail, web-hard (a mass file storage website), groupware, and ERP solutions. All of these features can be used with a single login. You can also login to the PC of the other person remotely and take emergency measures quickly. In essence, it provides companies with the customized, diverse solutions that they are in need of.

Suitable to its being an enterprise-level solution, TalkNow can check the company-wide directory and supports initiating contact to perform certain tasks and the issuing of public notices. When required, a headset can conveniently be used to conduct immediate video conferences to simplify decision-making procedures and the process of holding a discussion.

It also has the feature of allowing a user participating in a meeting to scribble or draw pictures on the digital notepad while talking, so that meetings can proceed faster.

For the sake of security, a unique ID is issued only to those employees who have the right to use the system so that the access of unauthorized parties is completely blocked.

In line with the recent trend to use the smartphone or tablets to carry out the majority of company tasks, the importance of cooperating in the mobile space and provide seamless communications has become more prominent. As such, TalkNow is planning on offering support for mobile applications.

The competitiveness in the market of TalkNow was acknowledged with its being awarded in 2007 with the Good Software (GS) certification. This is also attested to by its currently being used in Korea's National Medical Center and the emergency clinics that are under its administration. Additionally, it is being used to provide real-time communications in approximately 500 emergency rooms across Korea to provide medical services in an extremely fast manner.

Important documents that used to be sent and received by snail mail can now be sent using TalkNow UC which saves a lot of time and expense. TalkNow is also being used by delivery companies and local government bodies to increase their task efficiency.

They have received orders for their products from Kobe, Japan, and support other languages such as English, Chinese, and Japanese so that it is a good solution for international corporations with overseas branches.

Tel79com Co., the developers of TalkNow, have moved into the offices of the Smart Content Center which was prepared by the Korea Creative Content Agency to provide support for Korean small-to-medium sized companies working in the area of smart contents. They are laying the foundation for expanding globally by using outside consultants in a mentoring style relationship to provide them with advice in the areas of publicity, their profit model, strategic establishment and investments.
