The first half of the session will be devoted to radio theory and the tradeoff between bandwidth and range, as well as other critical parameters, with various wireless systems being reviewed. Included in the hands-on session will be the use of high-performance radio pairs, power supplies, cables and antennas. Participants will be given typical industrial user requirements and asked to perform a site survey, analyze the results and configure and test the radios to meet the requirements.
