SBT Seabuckthorn Engages a New Southeast Asian Distributor

BC-based SBT Seabuckthorn announces its new relationship with Singapore-based distributor Neu3xion Private Limited

2012-09-05
VANCOUVER, BC, September 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) SBT Seabuckthorn International Inc. is pleased to announce its new distribution deal with major Singapore distributor Neu3xion Private Limited, which will be representing SII's full line of skincare and nutritional products throughout Southeast Asia.

After a two-year courtship, Singapore-based Southeast Asian distributor Neu3xion (http://www.neu3xion.com/) has partnered with Peachland, BC's skincare and supplements manufacturer SBT Seabuckthorn to bring the Canadian product line to the Asian market for the first time. SII's moisturisers, cleansers, hair care and supplements are made with the nutritional and healing powerhouse SBT Seabuckthorn, which contains over 200 micronutrients, including anti-oxidants and omega fatty acids. SBT Seabuckthorn has a proven record of treating intractable skin conditions such as acne and rosacea, as well as vascular and gastrointestinal ailments.

Neu3xion Private Limited of Singapore, a city-state on Asia's Pacific Rim and a centre for trade and commerce, is a leader in the distribution of quality medical and laboratory products in Southeast Asia, and the family-owned business carefully planned and evaluated its entry into the new world of nutraceuticals. "My whole family has been using SBT Seabuckthorn for two years now," says Neu3xion General Manager Steven Pang, "And we've seen a lot of health and cosmetic benefits. Omegas and superfoods are on the radar all over Asia, so the timing is perfect. We look forward to building brand awareness across the Eastern Pacific Rim."

Chuck Barton, VP of Sales and Marketing at Seabuckthorn International, notes Neu3xion's commitment to health, their global vision and their history of great relationships with vendors. "Steven and his team are energetic, professional, ambitious. They know their marketplace and know the regulatory structure. They appreciate the value of the "Canadian" brand. And we're very proud that a Canadian-made product will be the first full line of seabuckthorn-based cosmetics and supplements to be marketed to Southeast Asia."

On the topic of the risks and rewards of a trans-Pacific business relationship, the answers from both companies are similar. "SBT Seabuckthorn has a wide range of products and they are committed to product development," says Neu3xion's Steven Pang. "They've been in business for two decades, and their care and diligence in negotiating with us showed me that they are very discerning about their partners."

"We've been negotiating with Steven and the Neu3xion team for over eight months," adds Chuck Barton of SBT Seabuckthorn. "Throughout the process they have shown a deep understanding of their customers, a consistent approach to negotiations, and a degree of patience that reflects their experience. We're fortunate to have Neu3xion representing us to their market."

Neu3xion has already begun selling SBT Seabuckthorn through their website, and a bricks-and-mortar operation is in the works.

SBT Seabuckthorn is a Canadian natural health products manufacturer and a leader in the functional foods industry since 1996.
