Grid-Tools Ltd and Primeur today partnered to provide end-to-end test data management strategies for the Italian, Spanish and French markets.

OXFORD, ENGLAND, October 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) Grid-Tools Limited, the leading vendor of test data management software and solutions globally, has engaged in a partnership with Primeur, a multinational company and one of the main producers of middleware solutions, specializing in managed file transfer, end-to-end security and governance. The two organizations will be working together to target Italian, Spanish and French organizations interested in best practice strategies and solutions for test data management.

Provisioning test and development data has always been a complicated, expensive and tedious process. Most organizations store and maintain roughly eight to twelve copies of production databases in order to provision test and development environments. As production databases grow larger and larger, the overhead costs of this start to multiply immensely. Organizations are forced to find further storage and server space and spend hours manually editing and manipulating large amounts of data to ensure it is project-specific. They must also adequately mask and de-identify data so it maintains compliance standards.
