University of Texas Health Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Dental School Implements Institute of Medical Emergency Preparednesss (IMEP) Medical Emergency Preparedness Program for Students and Faculty.

UTHSCSA is implementing IMEP's Medical Emergency Program into their curriculum, they are the first dental school to partner with IMEP in such an endeavor.

HARRIESBURG, MS, October 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Institute of Medical Emergency Preparedness (IMEP) is pleased to announce that it will be providing medical emergency preparedness for the University of Texas Health Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) faculty and students beginning this year. UTHSCSA is implementing IMEP's Medical Emergency Program into the curriculum, they are the first dental school to partner with IMEP in such an endeavor.
Dr. Christopher Rothman, co-founder of IMEP stated, "We are extremely pleased that the UTHSCSA Dental School would join forces with us and we look forward to a long-term relationship that will benefit faculty and students now, and give them a useful tool to assist in their transition after graduation into practice. I see this as a model program for all dental schools to adopt to complement their existing curriculum and training on medical emergencies. The IMEP program is an excellent complement and will enhance what dental schools have in place and are teaching right now."
