Healthagy Launches New Website for Health Information and Clinical Research Studies

Healthagy LLC has launched its new website as an innovative approach to creating awareness and participation in clinical research studies by providing targeted health content along with info on currently enrolling clinical research studies.

2012-09-13
HURST, TX, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) Healthagy LLC has launched its new website (www.healthagy.com) as an innovative approach to creating awareness and participation in clinical research studies by providing targeted health content along with information on currently enrolling clinical research studies.

Healthagy's goal is publish original health content to attract Internet users who are searching for health information but may be unaware of the opportunities offered by clinical research. Visitors may use Healthagy not only as a source of valuable health information but also to locate clinical research studies in their area or be notified when future studies begin enrolling.

Improving awareness and participation in clinical research is crucial in accelerating the process required to place new medications and therapies in the hands of physicians and their patients.

Unfortunately, indicators within the industry suggest only a 5% participation rate in clinical research studies - meaning, of the US population who could qualify for a clinical research study of some kind, only 5% are currently participating as a study volunteer. Low participation not only delays the release of new therapies but ultimately drives up the costs to consumers at their neighborhood pharmacies.

"My biggest challenge as President of Protenium Clinical Research," says Wade Strzinek, who is also the President and founder of Healthagy, "is finding qualified patients to participate in our ongoing studies. I created Healthagy because I believe in the benefits that clinical research offers us today even though we're working on medications for tomorrow. Healthagy can provide value health information while showing people how they can get involved in a study in their area."

There are many benefits to participating in clinical research, such as:

• Study volunteers receive attention from medical staff and physicians at no cost.
• Study volunteers receive study materials, investigational product (or placebo, if applicable) at no cost.
• Study volunteers are often reimbursed for the time and travel to the clinical research site.
• Study volunteers experience satisfaction from knowing that they are contributing towards the advancement of medicine and improved quality of life for others with the same medical condition.

Because of potential risks, participation in clinical research is not ideal for everyone and a physician should be consulted before deciding to participate in a clinical research study.

For more information on Healthagy or how to participate in clinical research studies, please call Toll Free 855-283-5891 or visit us at http://www.Healthagy.com. Wade Strzinek can be contact directly by email at wstrzinek@healthagy.com.
