HRCarbon Partners With Humber College in Delivering 'Carbon Professional Path' program

TORONTO, ON, September 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) HRCarbon has developed a unique 'Carbon Professional Path' Program which is being referred to as the first and the only prep course for the CSA GHG Inventory Quantifier exam being offered anywhere in the world. HRCarbon has pioneered similar courses in South Africa, Europe and North America and experienced both high interest and excellent feedback.

Now HRCarbon offers academic institutions the opportunity to embed this cutting edge education and training into their curriculum. This unique program can be offered as a stand-alone certification program or can also be integrated within current and planned programs. HRCarbon has partnered with several educational institutions in delivering the program, among them are University of Toronto, Humber College and Brock University. These partnerships demonstrate that academic institutions recognize the value in the development of carbon professionals in today's business world. Their interest in preparing their students for this certification clearly demonstrates that they see climate change as a real challenge facing future business leaders. After completing the 'Carbon Professional Path' program delivered by HRCarbon earlier this year, attendees have been taking the independently-proctored, formal certification examination that tests their knowledge of GHG quantification and reporting concepts. HRCarbon is proud to announce that 100% of those who attended the May 1-4, 2012 Toronto program and took the exam have successfully passed the examination and are now listed on the CSA Group website as Certified GHG Inventory Quantifiers.
