San Diego Self Storage Collection Drive Supports Operation Caregiver

San Diego Self Storage engaged in a collection drive to benefit Operation Caregiver by providing drop-off locations for critical items needed at their 17 SDSS facilities

RANCHO SANTA FE, CA, September 27, 2012 (Press-News.org) San Diego Self Storage (SDSS) engaged in a collection drive to benefit Operation Caregiver during the first two weeks of September by providing drop-off locations for critical items needed at their 17 SDSS facilities. Supplies collected will be forwarded to military troops overseas.

Items collected included letters of encouragement, cookies, powdered drink mixes, hard candy, talcum powder, shaving gel, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, sun block, Chapstick, antibiotic ointment, insect repellant, antiseptic wipes, magazines, playing cards and games. According to SDSS Managing Member J. Terry Aston, "SDSS is devoted to helping our troops that are in harms way far away from home. This collection drive exemplifies our commitment to the U.S. military that serve to protect and preserve freedom for our country and others in developing nations. We are honored to be engaged in activities that make their mission more tolerable." Items listed can still be dropped off at any of the SDSS facilities for transport to the troops.
