NORWICH, CT, September 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Maine Oxy, New England's leading supplier of gases and welding supplies, is launching an Advanced Cylinder Management (ACM) system in all 13 locations. The unique ACM system is an all-in-one solution to track and manage the entire Maine Oxy cylinder fleet. Maine Oxy customers will save both time and money as a result of the new streamlined tracking process.
Maine Oxy's ACM system features special tracking barcodes placed on each and every asset style gas cylinder, which are scanned at each point of transaction. This process makes the system ideal for tracking products from filling, to delivery and pickup.
"By using ACM, Maine Oxy now has faster access to digitized records of all cylinder contents and transactions," said Carl Paine, Business Development Manager. "We will now be able to locate and identify cylinders at customer locations at all times. This is an impressive level of detail we are very excited to offer to our clients," he said.
The ACM tracking system will save customers' time and money by supplying a complete and digital history of transaction records, thereby reducing the time customers have to spend analyzing rental invoices. By eliminating manual entry, ACM streamlines cylinder operations and provides Maine Oxy with the tools necessary to quickly resolve any cylinder balance questions.
Maine Oxy launched ACM at their headquarters in Auburn, ME in June 2012. During the month of September, Maine Oxy launched ACM in all Maine locations. By the end of 2012, all locations across New England will utilize ACM. For more information about the new system, contact Carl Paine at cpaine@maineoxy.com or call 800-377-9433
