New Choices in Breast Implants Allow for Custom Tailoring

Dr. Jack Fisher, one of the leading plastic surgeons in Nashville, believes that performing breast augmentation surgery is like fitting a dress: Each procedure should be tailored to fit the patient perfectly and complement her body.

New Choices in Breast Implants Allow for Custom Tailoring
2012-09-29
NASHVILLE, TN, September 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) For Dr. Jack Fisher, one of the leading plastic surgeons in Nashville, breast augmentation surgery shouldn't be the same for every patient, any more than clothing should be the same for every consumer. Just like a custom-made dress, each breast enhancement procedure should be precisely tailored to fit the woman's body.

"Every woman knows the annoyance of shopping for clothes," Dr. Fisher says. "They're manufactured with the assumption that every size-6 dress will fit every size-6 woman. But, every human body is different, even if the measurements are similar. What fits one woman may not fit another. What flatters one woman may not flatter another. To look beautiful in a dress, you need both the right size and the right tailoring; ready-mades can only take you so far. The same is true of cosmetic surgery."

Dr. Fisher has a long-established practice in a comfortable and personal venue for patients seeking breast augmentation in Nashville, TN. He offers a wide variety of cosmetic procedures, from minimally invasive to comprehensive. They include liposuction, facial rejuvenation, body contouring and a variety of breast procedures such as augmentation, reduction, lifts and implants. Surgery is performed in a state-of-the-art facility, which is fully staffed and adjacent to a major hospital.

Dr. Fisher, who has been providing breast implants in Nashville for more than 27 years, is proud to say that patients from all over the country have sought him out for his expertise.

"In particular," he says, "I see regular referrals for breast augmentation revision surgery. A patient has surgery elsewhere, experiences complications or even implant failure, and then comes to me for revision. I work with the patient to develop a treatment plan that leaves them healed and feeling beautiful again.

"It's an honor to be known as a surgeon who can handle the most difficult cases, and I think that in addition to my surgical skill, it reflects on my ability to communicate. All of my cases are highly individual, and I pride myself on my attention to each individual's needs. To achieve beautiful and natural-looking results, a surgeon needs good eyes and ears as well as expert hands."

Dr. Jack Fisher is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast enhancement, body contouring and facial enhancement, as well as non-surgical skin care treatments. He is well-known and respected throughout the country and has been a speaker at worldwide conferences on breast and aesthetic surgery. He is an associate clinical professor of plastic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Fisher received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed internships and residencies in general surgery at George Washington University Medical Center, followed by a plastic surgery residency at an Emory University-affiliated hospital. He was on staff at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, from 1981 to 1986 as an attending plastic surgeon.
