NEW HARMONY, IN, October 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) New Harmony Soap Company, a maker of natural, nutrient-rich soaps and skin health products, will introduce a pair of Artisan Wine Soaps this weekend at the 10th Annual Wabash Valley Wine & Art Festival in historic Palestine, Illinois.
As an artisan vendor at the popular Fall festival 45 miles southwest of Terre Haute,Indiana, New Harmony Soap Company will debut a Red Wine Soap and a Honey Wine Soap. The red wine soap is crafted using Reggae Red table wine vinted by Easley Winery of Indianapolis. The honey wine soap uses Camelot Mead Honey Wine vinted by Oliver Winery of Bloomington, Indiana. Each soap is priced at $5.00 per five ounce bar during the festival and will only be available while supplies last.
"Wine contains polyphenols that protect the skin from UV light and help keep it elastic, explained New Harmony Soap co-owner Jim Spann. "It also strengthens the cross-linking of collagen, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Wine is a wonderful natural ingredient for soap and skin care."
New Harmony Soap will offer several other skin health products at the two-day festival including After Shower Mists, Shea Butter Balms, Whole Body Soaks made from Dead Sea Salt, and Facial Soaps made with French green clay, apple extract, and witch hazel.
All New Harmony Soaps are made of organic sunflower oil, organic and sustainable palm oil, coconut oil, and Shea Butter. The family-owned and operated business will offer a wide variety of naturally aromatic soaps and skin health products during both days of the Wabash Valley Wine & Art Festival, October 6 and 7.
