8 Path Solutions LLC receives Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE)
NEW YORK, NY, October 05, 2012
8 Path Solutions LLC today announced receiving the Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) certification from the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS)."The M/WBE certification marks a milestone for 8 Path Solutions LLC," said Engagement Manager Stephen Chao. "It opens up opportunities for expanding our business and we're looking forward to participating in the City's Compete to Win initiatives to help us compete for contracts."
The M/WBE certification requires businesses to be in operation for at least 1 year; be at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or a member of a recognized minority group; and show a significant tie to the City's business community. The M/WBE program helps minority and women- owned businesses access government contracting opportunities and also provides capacity-building services.
