BRITTON, SD, October 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) Glacial Lakes Area Development (GLAD) and Golden Shovel Agency has teamed up together and launched an online web solution, Economic Gateway. The purpose of this site is to raise awareness of all that GLAD has to offer to the Greater Marshall County area of South Dakota. The new site can be viewed at http://www.gladsd.com.
According to John Marshall, Vice President of Sales for Golden Shovel Agency, Golden Shovel is pleased that they get to work with combining so many aspects of what this area needed into one customized solution.
"Golden Shovel's Economic Gateway software will give Glacial Lakes Area Development the necessary tools and communication channels to reach their desired audiences online. Up to date data, regional assets, available real estate and workforce will all be prominently displayed and easily searched," stated Marshall.
Established in 2002, GLAD is the regional economic development organization serving the Greater Marshall County Area assisting individuals as well as supporting all industries with business development goals. GLAD works for public, nonprofit and private entities offering various programs, education, or referrals to resource providers in the area. GLAD is known for its strong partnership capacity and statewide connections for small businesses and large corporations.
