San Antonio Homebuilder Hosting Weekly Facebook Pet Photo Contest for Cutest Pet

SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Sitterle Homes is holding a weekly Facebook contest to decide who has the cutest and most "liked" pet. The overall winner of the contest receives an iPad 3 (http://www.facebook.com/SitterleHomesTexas).

"Our pets play a great role in our lives. We are looking for photos of the cutest cats, dogs, even birds, that give us unconditional love everyday," said Cheri Bass, Director of Sales at Sitterle Homes.

The contest, which began on September 26, 2012, runs through October 26, 2012. Pet owners must "like" the Sitterle Homes Facebook page and then post their photo of their pet. Every week, the theme changes. Past themes have included best pet greeting photos, best pet snoozing photos and best pet activity photos (http://www.sitterlesalesevent.com).

"All of us have photos of our pets waiting to greet us at the door or taking an afternoon nap. This is your chance to show the world why you think your pet is the cutest," said Bass.

Fans of the Sitterle Homes Facebook page "like" the photo of the pet they think is the cutest and best fulfills the theme for the week. The twelve most "liked" pet photos through the duration of the competition will be featured in the 2013 Sitterle Homes calendar.

The winner of the Pet Photo Contest will be announced on Monday, October 29.

In addition to the Pet Photo Contest, Sitterle Homes is working to raise more than $10,000 for sheltered animals. With the purchase of each new home, Sitterle Homes will donate $250 to the San Antonio Humane Society and $250 to the Animal Defense League in the homeowner's name.

"Owning a home is a huge step in a person's life," Bass said. "We want to help people make that step towards home ownership while helping sheltered animal's find a place they can call home."
