Software developer Digital Workshop is pleased to announce Opus Pro has now been updated to 8.04 with additional performance enhancements and new Quick Clips for navigation buttons and quiz marks and additional components.

The latest version of its multimedia and e-learning authoring tool - Opus Pro v8.04 - combines power with ease of use to bring versatile SCORM support to mainstream users as well as offering visual development of all kinds of Windows and Flash applications from interactive presentations, training and educational whiteboard resources to database applications and games.

Opus Pro has always been known for its combination of usability plus power and now this has been applied to the creation of SCORM-conformant e-learning and assessment. Question templates and automatic scoring make it straightforward to build both simple quizzes and sophisticated tests. However, unlike some competitors, these can then be completely customised, redesigned and updated to suit specific requirements and all the powerful backroom stuff is also available to make sure your training does what you need.

As such Opus Pro v8 is designed to allow mainstream users to create e-learning materials at all levels from simple quizzes to sophisticated simulations. And of course, Opus Pro has the additional value of Digital Workshop's customary focus on what users really want to be able to do.

The previous version introduced SCORM packaging within the program so no additional software was required and now SCORM communication is even easier too with all SCORM actions built into the select-and-apply simplicity of Opus. All key data models for both SCORM v1.2 and SCORM 2004 are provided as presets and any others can simply be added as required.
