CHATTANOOGA, TN, October 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Charles Hooper, Jr., family dentist in Chattanooga, and his associates at East Brainerd Dentistry are providing same-day crowns to their patients with the use of CEREC technology. CEREC offers a vast improvement over the previous methods for creating crowns and fillings.
"I am excited that our practice is able to offer CEREC service to our patients. This technology allows us to create crowns at our practice instead of sending them to a dental lab, saving our patients a great deal of time and energy. We've had tremendous success with CEREC so far and I look forward to continuing to treat our patients with it in the future," said Dr. Hooper, dentist in Chattanooga.
In the past, dentists would first have to take an impression to create a crown. This impression would need to be sent to a dental lab, where it would take between two and three weeks for a crown to be created. In between appointments, patients would be fitted with a temporary crown, which have a tendency to fall out or break. The permanent crown would then be installed during a second appointment.
With CEREC, a digital imaging system is used to scan the area and create a crown that will fit in perfectly with the patient's teeth. This digital scan is sent to a milling machine on-site and the permanent crown will be created in a matter of minutes.

Based on other criminal traffic violations in New York, some drivers will also face longer reinstatement periods. Governor Cuomo positioned these changes as a safety ...

2012-10-19

New Law May Keep Rental Companies From Renting Dangerous Cars
2012-10-19
It all began with a horrible accident in 2004. Two sisters rented a Chrysler PT Cruiser from Enterprise Rental Car Company and were driving it on the highway when it suddenly caught fire leading to a crash with an oncoming commercial truck. Unfortunately, both sisters were killed in the auto accident.
One of the more frustrating aspects of this accident is the fact that it was avoidable. The vehicle that was rented to the sisters was under a safety recall for a potential fire hazard. Had Enterprise rented the sisters another vehicle, the accident may never have happened. ...
