The updated product now supports WevDAV software features generally and for Windows 8 windows 8. In addition to that new Handy Backup 7.3.0 provides means of restoring backups after moving the archives from one location to another. Also the new version becomes the product line's new standard for stable operation, including FTP backup and data transfer speed. Among the other new features, Czech localization has been renewed.

Novosoft LLC has announced the next step in the Handy Backup software evolution, with releasing a new version of the popular data backup platform for advanced home users and companies. Here is the list of major changes.
Support of WebDAV software backup features. For popular cloud services like Box.com, Yandex.disk, JungleDisk, CloudMe, and literally almost any other cloud service supporting the WebDAV protocol data transfer, a user of the new Handy Backup can now back up the data to the servers of those services or use the cloud storage space by the services to keep some backups there. The features is oriented toward cloud service users who want to make sure their data are available even if the service is down or another user has deleted something important in collaborative projects. Also, the WebDAV software functionality makes it possible to give cloud services a new life of storage, brining a scenario of cost-efficient online data reserving.
Restore of backups after relocation. From now on Handy Backup clients can place a backup archive to any place, and it will not affect on the opportunity to automatically recover the data. The option is claimed to be all about just making the task of restoring backup, no matter where the backup has been created or stored.
Bug fixes. The new version becomes the product line's new standard for stable operation, including FTP backup and data transfer speed.
Among other improvements there is an update of several localizations, including Czech.
