Polar Ice House Hosts Spooktacular Halloween Events

Enjoy Halloween themed performances, spooky costume contests, and more

RALEIGH, NC, October 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) For a frighteningly fun time, join Polar Ice House for a series of Halloween events at locations in Garner, Wake Forest and Cary. The festivities kick off on October 26 with chills and thrills around every turn. The Polar Ice House skating rinks will be filled with Halloween fun for all ages. From witches to ghosts to goblins and more, you'll be skating with a horde of fun and creepy Halloween characters. Check out what's happening near you!

Polar Ice House: Cary
• Saturday, October 27 from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m.
• After the Halloween Figure Skating exhibition from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., there will be a Halloween skate party
• Come in costume to receive half off the admission price for the party (not including skate rental)
• The legitimacy of Halloween costumes is up to the Polar Ice House staff, so come dressed to impress!

Polar Ice House: Garner
• Wednesday, October 31 from 1 to 3:45 p.m.
• Wear your Halloween costume to receive half off the admission price for the party (not including skate rental)
• Enjoy an extra hour of skating in your costume during this extended afternoon public skate session

Polar Ice House: Wake Forest
• Friday, October 26 from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Halloween-themed ice skating exhibition (available to any figure skater who is a member of Polar Ice House's Learn to Skate Program, Team Triangle, Triangle Figure Skating Club, skaters from either the Cary or Garner Ice House rinks, or those who are enrolled in any accredited U.S. Figure Skating Skate School Program
o The cost to be featured in the skating exhibition is $30 per solo number and/or $15 per skater for duets and trios
• The Factory shopping mall will also feature trick or treating, magic, a haunted gym, giant inflatables and more from 5 to 8 p.m. as part of its Halloween Spooktacular
