The videos provide clear explanations of the anatomical structures and their functions, and also use active learning methods such as End of Session Quizzes to emphasize key points. The videos also include Clinical Correlations, which help tie the anatomical information to the diseases and procedures seen in everyday medical practice. Each video comes with a PDF study guide with additional information, questions, and diagrams.
The course is taught by Professor John Phelan PhD, along with clinical correlations by DIT Educators Mike McInnis MD and Chris Lewis MD, who combine to bring years of clinical and educational experience to the presentation of the material.
