SAN DIEGO, CA, November 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) DIG Corporation is heading to the 2012 Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Orlando on November 4th and 5th. The eco-friendly irrigation company is excited to introduce the LEIT-1 —the latest addition to its exclusive product-line of ambient LEIT controllers. The LEIT-1 will debut in the New Product Contest and in the DIG Booth #1415.
The LEIT-1 is unique in that it does not require direct sunlight to operate, unlike most other solar controllers. It utilizes SimpleSmart programming technology which provides smart irrigation control made simple and easy. It does not require wiring, digging, or trenching, and it does not charge batteries or cells. It is also ambient light (solar) powered, committing to using only clean and sustainable energy.
"DIG believes that in order to conserve the highest quantity of water, the technology must be simple, user- friendly and affordable. That way people actually use smart controllers," said Rick Heenan, DIG Inside Sales Specialist. "The LEIT-1 was designed with that in mind."
In addition to the LEIT-1 , DIG will also be showcasing their LEIT and LEIT-2ET controllers, their 700 series battery controllers, and key drip irrigation products like their EXCEL LFPB dripline, which is an economical drip emitter line that uses less materials without compromising strength or quality.
"The irrigation industry is always looking for new methods to save water through improved irrigation practices," said DIG Marketing Manager Benjamin Raines. "Products that offer easy installation and set-up, smart control and provide unique and beneficial features like our ambient light powered products, continue to gain popularity."
About DIG Corp: DIG Corp was founded in 1981 with the idea of providing the irrigation industry with a comprehensive line of high quality low volume irrigation products. It has since expanded to the manufacturing of alternative powered irrigation controllers including their LEIT product-line, which utilizes light as a source of energy. DIG Corp strives to be on the forefront of irrigation innovation by providing smart and environmentally sustainable irrigation solutions.
