New Survey Results Backed by Strategic Five Marketing as Credit Crunch Eases for Small Businesses

Birmingham based company, Strategic Five Marketing have backed results from a recent survey concerning the ease of the credit crunch upon small businesses.

2012-11-02
BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, November 02, 2012 (Press-News.org) The outsourced and sales marketing firm has successfully grown throughout the economy and trade with many other small business owners throughout the UK who have noticed an increase of confidence in the economy.

Strategic Five Marketing has previously reported there is a growing trend and increasing demand for direct sales. The firm have proved business success can be achieved in the UK, as the company itself was founded during the recent recession.

Ben Lambert, Managing director for Strategic Five Marketing, has stated that, "based on the growth we have experienced over the last two years I certainly believe the British economy has been improving much faster than is necessarily being reported via the media. I am now starting to see many of our business partners and suppliers believe this to also be the case."

Cheryl Winoker Munk, writing for Entrepreneur, reported on the findings from the fourth quarter Kauffman/LegalZoom Startup Confidence Index. The quarterly survey that included responses from 693 businesses nationwide was published on Thursday and revealed that 44% of new businesses believe that the economy will improve further over the next twelve months.

The findings included the following statistics: 16% of small business owners that applied for loans or lines of credit, 14% more had their loans approved. 41% of entrepreneurs that participated reported being very confident in future profitability in this quarter, compared to the 39% in the last quarter. Startups are also expecting to increase hiring as well, with nearly 40% of business owners declaring that they plan to hire additional employers.

"This is a really good sign that credit could be on the rise. That really was a major drag on the economy over the last four years," says Dane Stangler, Kauffman's director of research and policy. Stangler adds that "there is never a bad time to start a business; "There are always problems to solve and there are always opportunities to capitalize on."

The article concludes that entrepreneurs continue to take a-glass-is-half-full approach to their profits rising over the next twelve months, even as doubts about the economy's health persist. 83% of startup business owners are highly confident that their profits will go up.

With encouraging results from this survey, Strategic Five Marketing have insisted that recovering from the credit crunch will much be easier than predicted and are an impressive example of a small business succeeding.
