HONOLULU, HI, November 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Christy Prentice is a photographer who dabbles in conning wealthy families out of a tiny serving of their legacy pie. They may not be convinced she's the long lost daughter of the deceased, but it's worth it to them to send her a small check just to hedge their bets. The DeLune family in Nashville is unlike the other families in many ways; not the least of which is that they want her to hang around after the check clears. And it's not just the immediate family who hangs onto Christy. For some reason, even the estate attorneys are happy to have made her acquaintance.
The book is reminiscent of the screwball comedies of the 1930s. There's a lot of chaos as well as love in the DeLune household. Christy soon cares deeply about the seven DeLune cousins while she finds out more about her husband, her marriage and herself.
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Sue Dolleris is a writer who masquerades as a Medical Recruiter during the day. She is recently widowed after a 40+ year marriage. She and her two grown daughters live in Nashville, Tennessee. A portion of the author's book royalties will go to Breast Cancer Research.
"What a thrill it is to have my work published," Dolleris says. "It was surreal to actually hold my first novel, "Hello, Norma Jean" and now I'm ecstatic that "The Loons" has seen the light of day. I love the chaos and confusion in "The Loons," with its underlying message of acceptance and redemption."
"The Loons" by Sue Dolleris - 290 pages - 5.25" x 8" Pocketbook - Color Softcover.
