Ernest Packaging Solutions will further expand Welsh Packaging with plans to open up a new distribution facility in Charlotte, as well as plans to double the total amount of employees over the next five years. The acquisition allows Welsh Packaging Solutions to offer customers such benefits as, complete foam fabrication, kitting, access to their innovation lab, ISTA drop testing capabilities and full-sourced packaging products nationwide. Neither company plans to lay off employees as a result of the acquisition and the commitment to client service will remain the highest priority.
