DALLAS, TX, November 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Spirit Chips," the company behind tortilla chips in every color for Universities, Pro Teams, Holidays and tailgating (including all Texas teams), rolled out Pink Gluten Free Tortilla Chips this month with a mission to provide great tasting, healthy chips to raise money for Breast Cancer Patients. But the motive is personal because Founder Merry Miller is a professional harpist (previously at NorthPark Center and Stonebriar Mall) who recently launched the Healing Arts Performance Series at the Charles Sammons Cancer Center at Baylor and will donate a portion of the proceeds back to the program. "Music is my love and I want to support Baylor's effort to recognize and integrate it into a patient's healing, as well as help family and friends battling this disease." Both a brother in law and Aunt are currently being treated for Cancer.
The chips are available at http://www.BreastCancerChips.com or by calling 972-827-5354. But the pink chips have garnered national attention because they are not only the perfect shade of pink, but are gluten free and have zero cholesterol, zero hydrogenated oils, zero trans fatty acids, are low sodium, have a shelf life of 90 days...and taste like regular tortilla chips!
Merry, who just released her sixteenth album, launched and funded Spirit Chips from her CD sales this past September because she's a die hard of tortilla chips and football and wanted chips in her team colors and every holiday color. However, as family and friends were recently diagnosed, and she performed at Baylor, she realized the potential use of colored Tortilla chips to raise money for all causes.
But the product has been the hardest one to create yet because it is extremely difficult to make colored tortilla chips because heat changes the color of the dough, and Pink tends to turn to orange when heated. So hundreds of samples later, they finally nailed the color, but because of the late date will offer them year round and stay focused on marketing them because the motive is so deeply personal and important.
Merry sent the chips to her former CoHosts of "The View" as she has CoHosted the show herself substituting for Elisabeth Hasselback when she was on maternity leave. But she also sent them to her colleagues at Fox National as she is a regular guest on that network. Lastly, she sent them to Today Show for Kathie Lee and Hoda to enjoy!
To learn more please call Merry Miller at 972-827-5354 and visit http://www.BreastCancerChips.com.

2012-11-08
At the height of the boom, Brits made up 60 to 70% of foreign property purchases in Spain. By 2011 this British proportion had dropped to 19% with other European investors snapping at their heels. Agent Spanish Hot Properties fears the Brits are missing out.
