Banner Engineering EZ-LIGHT K80FL and K80FDL Indicator Lights Provide Clear Status Indication
2012-11-16
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, November 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Banner Engineering introduces the EZ-LIGHT K80FL and K80FDL to its comprehensive line of indicator lights. The K80FL and K80FDL feature a large, flat face to deliver clear, easy-to-discern status indication both up close and at long distances.

The K80FL delivers distinct, even lighting and is available in nine different colors; while the K80FDL provides extremely bright, intense light, making it ideal for outdoor use, and is available in six colors. Both models are able to display up to three colors in one unit, and both have an internal DIP switch to change from solid or flashing light operation.

"We originally developed the K80 models as a traffic management tool for underground and aboveground transit systems," said Chuck Dolezalek, Director of Product Development for Lighting and Indicators. "However, their versatility and multi-function capabilities mean they can be customized for nearly any application requiring long distance status indication--whether it be in the field, on the factory floor or elsewhere."

The indicators' gray-off position eliminates false readings from stray light. Their large face clearly communicates real-time status indication, in addition to easily identifying labels with transparent backgrounds to help convey even more information.

With a flush-mounting system and IP67 rugged, environmental rating, the K80FL and K80FL are an optimal lighting solution in traffic control situations at truck docks, car washes and for general machine status indication. A sunshade is available as an additional accessory to prevent sunlight from interfering with status indication.
