FILLMORE, CA, November 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) On Nov. 10, hundreds of home shoppers and design seekers attended Brookfield Homes' grand opening of Haven in Chula Vista. The successful event-- which included tours of four model homes—resulted in the sell out of Haven's first phase of five homes in one day.
"When designing Haven, we thought about the needs of today's home buyer, such as creating space for indoor and outdoor leisure," said Debby King, director of marketing for Brookfield Homes. "After watching how well-received Haven was during grand opening weekend, we know we've built homes that both meet current demands, and inspire and excite home shoppers. It's a great feeling."
The new 60-home neighborhood offers four different floor plans ranging from approximately 1,718 to 2,430 square feet with three to five bedrooms and 2.5 to three baths. All homes include a loft, which could serve as a family hangout spot, with room for movie or game nights, reading and more; private yards for outdoor grilling and dining; and a two-car garage with added storage. Two floor plans also feature a downstairs bedroom and full bath, which are popular among older couples and multi-generational families, noted King. Homes at Haven are currently priced from the mid $300,000s.
Residents at Haven have access to a private recreation center with cabanas, a swimming pool and more. Meandering in and around Windingwalk are pedestrian pathways that link Haven residents to community amenities, such as Windingwalk's two private recreation centers and park, including the acclaimed WindingOaks Recreation Center with pools, a fully-equipped gym, covered outdoor pavilion with exterior fireplace, barbecue and more. The park at Windingwalk has a basketball court, ball fields, skateboard park and many other amenities.
