WINSTON-SALEM, NC, November 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Truliant Federal Credit Union is excited to be celebrating their 60th anniversary. Located in Winston-Salem, NC; the credit union was founded in 1952 to serve the employees of Western Electric, starting with 2,000 members and $100,000 in assets. First known as Radio Shops Credit Union, the organization later became known as AT&T Family Federal Credit Union. In August 1999, they changed their name to Truliant Federal Credit Union to more accurately reflect the growing and diversified member-owner base.
For 60 years, Truliant has remained dedicated to serving the communities in which it operates and providing financial education seminars on a variety of topics including debt management, budgeting and home buying. Truliant is one of the largest credit unions in North Carolina and serves more than 190,000 member-owners and more than 900 employers and their employees.
