GREENBELT, MD, October 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) ZIPS Dry Cleaners, an aggressively expanding national dry cleaning franchise concept with more than 25 locations along the east coast, has announced the addition of Anne Weakley as the companyâEUR s new Franchise Trainer.

ZIPS Dry CleanersâEUR Andy Cucchiara, Vice President of Franchise Operations, says he is counting on WeakleyâEUR s extensive knowledge and industry experience to help strengthen the training of ZIPS Dry CleanersâEUR franchisees at every location.

âEURœAs we continue to grow on a national level, the success of our company correlates to the quality of training we provide our franchisees,âEUR said Cucchiara. âEURœAnne has the ability to educate our franchisees and teach them the skills necessary to be successful within our system.âEUR

Weakley joins ZIPS Dry Cleaners with more than 25 years in the dry cleaning industry. Before joining the fast-growing dry cleaning chain, she worked at the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) as a Textile Analyst and instructor in the education department. With an extensive knowledge of both front end and production positions, Weakley has worked in all positions including operating dry cleaning machinery; forwarding clothes to proper pressing stations; pressing all types of garments; assembly and bagging.

âEURœOver the years, IâEUR ve had the opportunity to work in various areas of the dry cleaning business,âEUR said Weakley. âEURœBecause of my experience, I am able to pass along my knowledge to franchisees and answer a variety of questions that might come up during the training process.âEUR

Along with offering ongoing support to all ZIPS Dry Cleaners locations and store openings, Weakley will be responsible for the training of new owners on front counter service, customer service, dry cleaning, pressing/finishing, assembly and laundry.

About ZIPS

The company offers a fixed price of $1.99 for any garment to be dry cleaned and $1.19 for any shirt to be laundered. ZIPS offers same day service âEURœIn by 9 out by 5âEUR with the motto, âEURœWe take the sting out of dry cleaning.âEUR Furthermore, ZIPS is a cash only business which helps keep the price down for consumers and thus provides a large amount of inventory on a constant basis for the franchise owners (which can average nearly 3,000 garments per day).
