2013 Centennial Beer Festival Set For February 22-23 in St. Louis

The fifth annual St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival is set for Friday and Saturday, February 22 and 23, at Moulin Events and Centennial Beer House.

BALLWIN, MO, December 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) The St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival has set the dates for its 2013 event. The Festival is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 22-23, at Moulin Events and the Centennial Malt House. Both are located at 2017 Chouteau in St. Louis.

On Friday night, February 22, the Festival kicks off with a Brewmaster Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Partner brewer for 2013 is Six Row Brewing Company. Moulin chef Tony Cole and Six Row brewmaster Evan Hiatt will discuss each of the five food and beer courses as they are served.

Beer Tasting sessions on Saturday, February 23, will feature over 100 beers from over 55 breweries. Virtually all of the St. Louis area breweries will be represented, as well as beers from across the US and Europe. Sessions will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Food will be available during both sessions. A V.I.P. Tasting Room will also be available with special early check-in, special release & vintage beers and food from Chef Tony Cole.

Centennial Beer Festival tickets go on sale Friday December 7th, 10:00 a.m. at centennialbeerfestival.com. Tickets for the dinner are priced at $67.50 (including gratuity). Tickets for the tasting sessions are $26.50-$56.50. Advance prices are available until 2/1/13. Tax will be added to all tickets.

Jason Arnold, founder of the Festival, says, "We've become friends with many St. Louis beer lovers over the first four years of our festival and look forward to making more new friends in 2013. Ours is one of the more intimate festivals, with short lines and great opportunities to chat with the brewers and brewery reps."
