Director of Metrology Named at Laboratory Testing Inc.

Laboratory Testing Inc. has promoted Mike Hiller to Director of Metrology. He will oversee the operations of the Metrology division that provides calibration and dimensional inspection services.

HATFIELD, PA, December 09, 2012 (Press-News.org) - Mike Hiller of Quakertown, PA has been promoted to Director of Metrology at Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI). This position oversees all operations and develops the business strategy for LTI Metrology, the division of LTI that provides calibration and dimensional inspection services to customers in the nuclear, aerospace, medical, manufacturing, heat treating and commercial industries.

Hiller is a graduate of Millersville University with a B.A. degree in Technology Education and is currently attending DeSales University for his M.B.A. in Management. He began working at Laboratory Testing Inc. and LTI Metrology part-time in 1998 while attending college. He joined the company as a full-time Field Calibration Technician in 2007, working most recently as Field Calibration Supervisor. Hiller is a third-generation member of this family business.

ABOUT Laboratory Testing Inc. -- Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) of Hatfield, PA is an independent materials testing and metrology laboratory in business since 1984. The range of services offered by LTI includes mechanical testing, metallurgical testing, chemical analysis, corrosion testing, nondestructive testing, specimen machining, failure analysis, dimensional inspection and calibration services with results documented in a Certified Test Report or Calibration Certificate. LTI Metrology, a division of Laboratory Testing Inc., provides dimensional inspection and NIST-traceable calibration services for measuring hand tools, masters and a wide-range of measuring instruments and equipment.
