Mayor Michael Bloomberg has proposed a rule that would prohibit food service establishments from cups or bottles of soft drinks larger than 16 ounces. This rule would not apply to drinks that are over half milk, or over 75 percent juice, or low calorie diet soft drinks.

While Healthy Life Sciences applauds any healthy attempts to take a stand against being overweight, unfortunately the reduction or even elimination of just one food is simply not enough.
