BALTIMORE, MD, December 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Storage Village was interviewed on Fox 45 Morning News as part of their Live Winter Clothing Drive. Storage Village was chosen for the interview because of their consistent and substantial support for their community.
The Fox 45 Live Winter Clothing Drive was conducted as part St. Vincent de Paul's annual Warm Holiday Wishes drive. All donated items were put directly into the Mobile Clothing Bank truck, which travels around Baltimore to ensure that the homeless throughout the city have access to the winter clothing articles they need.
Storage Village's Clifton Park Self Storage is the neighborhood drop off location in East Baltimore for the Warm Holiday Wishes Drive. This year is the 3rd year they have participated, partnering with St. Vincent de Paul and MECU in 2010.
For the Live Winter Clothing Drive, Storage Village brought one of their 17 foot box trucks filled with dozens of boxes of winter clothing articles. They were able to collect such a large number of items thanks to the enthusiastic participation of Storage Village's employees and tenant community.
"I am so grateful to be able to bring people together this time of year to make sure everyone in our community has the winter clothing they need."
- J. Goldberg, Director of Marketing, Storage Village
