Fashion Industry and Non Profits Team Up to Provide New Clothing and Home Supplies for Hurricane Sandy Victims Registered with FEMA

Fashion Delivers, Third Day Missions, Movement Church and Tunnel To Towers Foundation provide free holiday shopping experience for 3,000 Staten Island Hurricane Sandy victims at the Vanderbilt Hotel.

STATEN ISLAND, NY, December 30, 2012

On Saturday, December 22nd and Sunday, December 23rd Fashion Delivers joined forces with Movement Church of Staten Island, Third Day Mission, and Tunnel to Towers Foundation to provide Staten Island victims of Hurricane Sandy with a pop-up shop of new apparel and home goods, giving them a chance to select free items just before Christmas. An extensive network of elected officials, community supporters, companies and 150 volunteers also pitched in to help 3,000 people in need have a better holiday with nearly $6 million worth of donated new merchandise.
