PhotoMingle Touchscreen Special-Events Kiosk Now Available in Minneapolis Area

PhotoMingle announced today that its new touchscreen special-events kiosk is now available for booking in the Minneapolis area, through its authorized partner Bellagala, following its hugely successful launches in Orlando, Miami and Atlanta.

2013-01-04
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, January 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) PhotoMingle announced today that its new touchscreen special-events kiosk is now available for booking in the Minneapolis area, through its authorized partner Bellagala, following its hugely successful launches in Orlando, Miami and Atlanta.

PhotoMingle is a 46-inch touchscreen kiosk that allows guests at weddings, birthdays, meetings, trade shows and other special functions to post photos to social media sites like Facebook, e-mail photos to friends using a virtual keyboard, and select and print color photos using a "drag and drop" touchscreen icon.

Guests also can write personal messages on their photo images, and create a custom MingleBook photo album. After each event, digital images and messages are immediately available on CD or DVD or via PhotoMingle's online portal.

Introduced in May 2010, PhotoMingle has been a huge hit at weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, conferences and trade shows, music festivals and other special events.

"PhotoMingle gives any event a life beyond the actual physical venue. Within minutes, guests can load and access their personalized photos and share them in real time with their friends via Facebook or e-mail," said Mike Underwood, PhotoMingle's inventor and a former elementary school teacher. "PhotoMingle brings the best features of a photo booth and guestbook together and lets guests share their experience instantly with family, friends and business associates."

PhotoMingle has attracted plenty of attention since its rollout. It was the social centerpiece of more than 150 events last year in Miami, Orlando and Atlanta, and Wal-Mart recently booked the kiosk for the Essence Music Festival held in early July 2012 in New Orleans.

PhotoMingle has also attracted the attention of the corporate world, enabling world-class companies to capture leads and reinforce their brands at trade shows, meetings and high-level events. Some of these leading brands include Coca-Cola, Barnes & Noble, Sea World Orlando, Universal Studios Orlando, Macy's, Neiman-Marcus and Walt Disney World Resort, which last year began offering PhotoMingle as part of its weddings package. PhotoMingle also has made appearances at local non-profit events, including fundraisers for the Children's Home Society and the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Event planners have been quick to praise PhotoMingle's "cool technology." It has been featured across the country in popular wedding blogs, major newspapers, wedding magazines and even the local NBC TV affiliate in the Miami metro area.

"The response from our clients is amazing! The best compliment that we hear is how unique it is," said Shannon Tarrant of Big City Catering in Orlando. "Every party deserves to have one thing that will leave a lasting memory. And what could be cooler than mixing the idea of a photo booth with awesome touchscreen technology?"

"Photomingle was a huge hit at our Solutions Bridal grand opening party," remarked Michelle Yarn, a bridal stylist with the Orlando-based bridal company. "We had more than 100 wedding vendors, planners and industry professionals attend the event... and between the group of us there's nothing we haven't already seen. But PhotoMingle was a truly unique, fresh and fun new experience."

The charge to rent PhotoMingle for four hours ranges from $1,095 - $1,395 in the Minnesota area, depending on the size of the event and the package inclusions. The package fee includes delivery and setup, an onsite "Mingle Operator," Facebook integration, a post-event CD or DVD with all event photos, 200 4-inch-by-6-inch onsite color prints, a link to view the photos online and purchase additional MingleMerchandise and a choice of custom borders for the photos and the kiosk screen. An optional 7-inch-by-7-inch perfect-bound MingleBook photo album is available for $75.
