Willem-Jan Scholten Appointed as New CEO of BlueCielo ECM Solutions

Leadership Handover Further Strengthens the Growth Ambitions of BlueCielo

RIJSWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS, January 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Supervisory Board of BlueCielo Group BV is pleased to announce the appointment of Willem-Jan Scholten as CEO with effect from January 1, 2013. The appointment of Willem-Jan Scholten as new CEO of BlueCielo ECM Solutions, a fast growing leader in the field of Asset Information Management and Engineering Content Management software solutions, shows BlueCielo's commitment to the further strengthening of its international growth strategy.

Willem-Jan Scholten assumes the CEO position from Rainer Puittinen, who has been CEO of BlueCielo since 2011. Having lived two years away from his family, Rainer Puittinen decided to step down as CEO and return to Finland following the recent acquisition of BlueCielo by Benelux private equity firm Gilde Equity Management. The Supervisory Board thanks Rainer Puittinen for his valuable contribution to the successful development of BlueCielo during his time as CEO.

Willem-Jan Scholten has a background in leading international software businesses for many years. He has gained prior experience with, amongst others, Oracle Corporation, Business Objects and Digital Equipment Corporation. At Oracle, he led the successful integration and growth of Moniforce - a Dutch software business that was sold to Oracle in 2007 - as well as most recently the integration of the SUN Benelux operations.
