SARASOTA, FL, January 17, 2013 (Press-News.org) Linda Starcher, an associate with RE/MAX Alliance Group in Sarasota, was presented with the Insignia Award for the month of January 2013 by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
The award, which recognizes quality customer service and commitment to the community, is sponsored by Insignia Bank.
Starcher has 34 years of real estate experience and was Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Properties in Petoskey, Michigan, for five years. Well versed in the industry, she holds 11 certifications and designations, and is a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club, Platinum Club and Hall of Fame.
She began her career at the age of 18 with the Michigan Civil Service, last serving as branch manager and supervising a staff of 18-35 employees. After advancing to the top in only 10 years, "I had a burning desire to have my own business and utilize all the clerical, management skills and experience I had just acquired," she says. She also had been involved in building and developing condominiums and single-family homes. It was a natural transition for her to acquire a real estate license.
Throughout her career, Starcher has given back with leadership roles in the business community, real estate industry and community at large, and is a current member of Leadership Sarasota, Women's Council of Realtors, Tiger Bay Club, Sarasota Arts Club and the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Arts Foundation Fan Club, to name but a few.
