KISSIMMEE, FL, January 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) Signalman Publishing is proud to announce the release in paperback and as an ebook for the Amazon Kindle, the Barnes & Noble nook, and the Apple iBookstore of "Sanity Check" by Walt Breede of Jupiter, Florida.
"Sanity Check" is the third novel in the Alan Llewellyn series which follows math teacher and former U.S. Navy officer Alan Llewellyn as he gets caught up in the murky world of Chinese espionage.
"Sanity Check" asks an interesting question: How does the President of the United States know he is getting the best and most honest information from the vast U.S. Intelligence community? How does he know that the daily briefs and frequent reports he is receiving, which have been produced by numerous hands, are free of hidden agendas and political spin? "Sanity Check" explores this issue.
The main character, Alan Llewellyn, is hired by Jim Kehoe, his high school classmate and now President of the U.S., to form a small secret group to execute a 'sanity check' on material that Kehoe gets from his intelligence providers. While setting up this sub rosa group, Alan stumbles upon covert activities of China's intelligence service which has agents deep undercover in Richmond, Virginia. Action oscillates between clandestine espionage and bloody violence in this shadow-war.
John McClure, president of Signalman Publishing, states, "This is a fascinating novel with a real-world premise. We are honored and delighted to bring the third novel in the Alan Llewellyn series to the reading public."
"Sanity Check" (ISBN: 978-1-935991-92-2, Trade Paper, 266 pages, $15.99, Fiction/espionage) from book publisher Signalman, is available wherever fine books are sold.
