KFA Search Unveils New Name, New Face And New Place For 2013

Retained Executive Search Firm Enters Triangle Market, Names Jake Fehling As Vice President

RALEIGH, NC, February 08, 2013 (Press-News.org) KFA Search (http://www.KFASearch.com), a retained executive search firm dedicated solely to senior level assignments in the life sciences industry, has announced that Jake Fehling will join the company as vice president and will oversee the firm's new Raleigh office, located in the CAPTRUST Tower at 2408 Six Forks Road. This is KFA Search's third U.S. office - other offices are located in Jacksonville, Fla. and San Francisco.

Heavily active in the Triangle community, Fehling serves as marketing chair on both the Hospice of Wake County Board of Trustees and the Me Fine Foundation. Additionally, he volunteers and emcees events for a variety of local nonprofit organizations and charities, serves as 2013-2014 chair-elect for the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network, and is a member of the Chamber's communications committee. Fehling received Triangle Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Leadership Award in 2012.

Fehling has served in a variety of roles within sports business and media over the last 10 years. He was previously director of media and public relations for Durham, N.C.-based USA Baseball, and he led international media operations for the U.S. Olympic Committee and International Baseball Federation. In 2008, Fehling launched "Extra Innings," the Triangle's largest and most all-encompassing networking event, which draws more than 1,000 attendees and 20 sponsors annually and is held at the USA Baseball Training Complex in Cary, N.C. Additionally, he helped manage multimillion dollar merchandising sales programs for four of the U.S. Golf Association's Open Championships and directed CoSport's officially licensed Beijing 2008 Olympic Games hospitality program.
