Divorcelounge.com Announces NYC Valentines Day Event At The Polar Lounge The Marcel Gramercy Hotel

DivorceLounge.com (www.DivorceLounge.com) announces Valentine's Day 2013 at the Polar Lounge in New York City for happy hour and after hours drinks, fun and plenty of divorcees and singles ready to mingle

2013-02-08
NEW YORK, NY, February 08, 2013 (Press-News.org) DivorceLounge.com (www.DivorceLounge.com (http://www.divorcelounge.com/)) is an events-based calendar, online support community and informational website for people who are contemplating divorce, have gone through divorce and have or don't have kids. Many members of the community are people who are seeking to get back into dating and re-marriage. DivorceLounge.com not only works as an online social media platform for the divorced community, but also organizes events and gatherings to introduce fellow members. Raphi Salem, founder and organizer of DivorceLounge.com, states that "there is plenty of information out there that is put out by divorce and matrimonial lawyers. There are tons of websites and a plethora of information about events and singles gatherings. But there isn't one website that brings it all together."

DivorceLounge.com is excited to announce it will be holding its Valentine's Day Happy Hour and After-Hours event at the Polar Lounge at the Marcel at Gramercy Hotel at 201 East 21st street (at 3rd Ave) on February 14th between 7-11pm. This particular event is intended for divorcees between the ages of 30-55. Interested adults are encouraged to get their tickets online while supplies last at http://divorcelounge2.eventbrite.com/# (Cost is $25 online and $50 at the door) DivorceLounge.com had a successful launch event in January and expect a big crowd for the event this Valentine's Day.

"Many singles and never-marrieds want in on the action too," says the not-so-surprised Raphi Salem. "People who are still single in their 30's and 40's have asked if they can attend even if they aren't divorced. They recognize that plenty of people are divorced and while they would never date a divorcee in their 20's, divorce has become a pretty common fact of life in our later years." The DivorceLounge.com policy is open door. It is understood that all members have to be 100% open to meeting someone with kids from a previous marriage.

As for the venue, the Polar Lounge has a friendly and relaxing environment where it's easy to kick back and relax after a long day. It is the perfect place to be this Valentine's Day and possibly meet your "lounge partner!"

This is not your typical dating event where you have to worry if you're just going to be standing around with a drink. "The DivorceLounge.com difference is on hand matchmakers that make introductions on the fly and help singles pair up if there's a connection. Come, bring friends and enjoy. No pressure or obligation but a good time is guaranteed," says founder and organizer Raphi Salem.
